Field Filtering

When a reference field offers the wrong records — too many, too few, or the wrong branch's — one of three tools is behind it, and they are easy to confuse because two of them sit next to each other in the menu with almost the same name.

The complaint	The tool
"The lookup won't show records from another branch, legal entity or department."	Field Filtering — loosens the dimension narrowing on one field.
"The lookup shows records it shouldn't — service items, another supplier's items."	Field Filter With Criteria — narrows a field by a condition, switched on per term, book, group or menu entry.
