Technician Appointments
If your business sells something and then has to turn up at the customer's address to make it work — install the split unit, assemble the wardrobe, take the sample — this is the part of the menu that plans the visit. You describe the work, group your field staff into crews, tell the system when those crews are available, and then book slots on a weekly calendar that shows in colour who is already promised elsewhere.
It is a self-contained booking system with its own licence, crm-technician-appointments, and no connection to the machine- or service-maintenance suites next door in this menu. Two things are worth knowing before you start: an appointment books one crew, never two, and a technician belongs to exactly one crew — most of the rules on these pages follow from those.
The Setup
The catalogue of work, the teams that do it, and the hours they are bookable in. Build these in order; each one narrows the pickers on the next.
Booking the Work
Where the day is actually planned — the calendar you draw and rearrange visits on, the document that comes out of it, and the schedule technicians see.
After the Visit
Recording what was really done, and keeping the crews accurate as people move around.
